LinkedIn leads for professional ICPs

When the buyer is an agency, consultant, or operator — not a storefront — public LinkedIn profiles fill the gap Maps leaves. Unique LinkedIn leads cost 2.5 credits. We do not log into LinkedIn or use your credentials.

What this source actually returns

Fields below match what the pipeline stores after scrape, enrichment, and verification. Emails come from public websites (or the listing when it already shows one), then get a status label. We do not invent inboxes or scrape behind a login.

Name & headline
Public profile name and how they describe the role. Headline often doubles as the company field when no org is listed.
Company / practice
Organisation name when the public profile publishes one; otherwise headline or name is used as the company fallback.
Location
The geography string they publish on the profile (not always structured city/state).
Handle & profile URL
Public LinkedIn handle and URL — anyone can open without signing in.
Bio / about
Public about, summary, or headline text when the actor returns it.
Follower count
Public follower count when present on the profile.
Website (when listed)
Company or personal site used for email enrichment.
Email + verification status
From the public website crawl and, when still missing, LinkedIn profile enrichment — then labelled valid, catch-all, invalid, or unknown. No private inbox scrape.

When LinkedIn is the right call

01

The ICP is a person, not a shop

Independent consultants, agency owners, and B2B operators often have a weak or missing Maps card. LinkedIn is where they describe the niche in public. If your offer is to agencies or fractional operators, start here and add Maps only when they also run a local office.

02

You need lookalikes around a domain

Account Hunter can discover LinkedIn accounts from a keyword or competitor domain, then the same enrich → verify → CSV path applies. That is discovery, not a Sales Navigator export.

03

You already have Maps and still have holes

Multi-source runs merge the same email into one row. You are not billed twice if Maps and LinkedIn agree. LinkedIn-only contacts settle at 2.5 credits.

Workflow from query to CSV

Same loop as every other live source: describe the market, pick this platform in the wizard, enrich public sites, verify, merge duplicates, export.

  1. 01

    Describe niche and location

Professional language matters: “fractional CMO” is tighter than “marketing”. Pair with a city or region the profile actually uses.

  2. 02

    Select LinkedIn (weight 2.5)

The wizard hold reflects the higher weight. Confirm before run. Unused hold returns after settle.

  3. 03

    Enrich public websites

Company sites and contact pages are the email path. LinkedIn itself is not treated as a mailbox.

  4. 04

    Verify, merge, export

Statuses land in the CSV. Cross-source duplicates collapse. Re-runs skip verified LinkedIn deliveries for 30 days.

Limits — read these before you run

LinkedIn is a public discovery source. It will not replace a CRM, a sequencer, or a login-based exporter. These are the product-true edges.

  • No LinkedIn login, no InMail, no scraping behind authentication.
  • Many profiles have no public email; enrichment depends on a website.
  • Headline language is noisy — expect to filter after export.
  • This is not ZoomInfo’s contact graph and not a Wiza-style one-click LinkedIn exporter.

How leadrushh fits

leadrushh uses LinkedIn as one public source in a multi-source search. You pick it in the wizard beside Maps or Instagram when the ICP needs professional coverage.

Billing is unique-lead based at 2.5 credits. Verification labels quality; it is not a second product. The file is sequencer-ready.

If you only need storefronts, skip LinkedIn and save the weight. If you only need LinkedIn-class operators, skip Maps.

Example run

Agency owners in Austin

Query independent marketing agencies in Austin on LinkedIn. Enrich agency websites for founder or intake emails. Verify. Merge anyone already found on Maps. Export valids into your sequencer. Re-run in 30 days and previously delivered verified contacts from LinkedIn stay out of the file.

Pair it with other sources

Multi-source searches merge the same email into one row. You are not billed twice when LinkedIn and another platform agree.
